Heat Exchanger Tube Bundles and Custom Coil Fabrication

New tube bundles, tube sheets and custom coils fabricated to fit the existing shell, based on measurements taken from the removed equipment.

Where repair is not economical or the part cannot be recovered, remanufacture is chosen. Measurements are taken from the removed equipment and the hole pattern and tube lengths are derived from the existing shell. Fabrication is completed in the workshop and assembly is carried out on board or in the yard.

Scope

Sequence of work

  1. Measurement of the removed equipment
  2. Derivation of the hole pattern
  3. Material preparation and tube cutting
  4. Machining of the tube sheet
  5. Preparation of baffles and support plates
  6. Assembly of the bundle
  7. Tube installation and expansion
  8. Leak and pressure testing
  9. Fitting into the shell

Where the work is done

  • On board, in the machinery space or on deck
  • In the yard, while the vessel is docked or alongside
  • In the workshop in Tuzla, when the equipment is removed and brought in
  • Across Türkiye and, where required, in foreign ports
